Indians player Paul Kerle took part in the Tenerife Winter League.
Dornbirn. While we keep fit by shoveling snow in Austria, the Dornbirn Indians U14 player Paul Kerle recently had the opportunity to play baseball in the Tenerife Winter League in fantastic weather on Tenerife.
“The Tenerife Winter League is, so to speak, a week-long tournament in Tenerife to which players can apply and at the end the best of each age group get a confirmation. Paul Kerle is one of the best U14 players in Austria and absolutely deserves to take part,” said Wolfgang Pschorr from the Dornbirn Baseball Club proudly.
Kerle was on daily duty for the “Orange” team (one of three participating teams). The three teams consisted of players who had traveled from all over Europe and even Mexico. Paul Kerle was able to impress with two home runs and also won the final with his team at the end of the tournament. Congratulations from the Dornbirn Indians on this outstanding performance. (cth)
