Lionel Messi has Corona, the Argentine star DJ Fer Palacio even received death threats as a result. Now he has denied the allegations.
Argentine star DJ Fer Palacio has firmly denied allegations that he infected PSG superstar Lionel Messi with COVID-19. “I’m a trend on Twitter because Messi tested positive,” said the 31-year-old in a video on Sunday.
“They claim that I infected him. They even called me a ‘murderer'”, the musician continued, showing a negative test himself. “I got a lot of bad news. But yesterday I was tested because I have to travel to Uruguay.”
Messi tests positive for COVID-19
Paris Saint-Germain confirmed on Sunday that Messi had tested positive for Corona. The 34-year-old had spent the Christmas days in his Argentine homeland in Rosario and was there at a party where Fer Palacio was playing.
Palacio, who had attended numerous parties in the past few weeks after which several people had tested positive, had posted a photo with Messi on social media. After Messi’s corona infection became known, he said he even received death threats.
