The Byzantine Archers have a great start in 2022, in the Indoor 18 meters competition in Moglia. Angela Padovani, in the female master category naked arc, exceeded the 500 points ceiling, winning the gold medal with 501 (242 + 259) and setting her new personal best. In the same division silver medal for Marcello Tozzola, with a score of 528 (268 + 260) in the male masters category. The other male protagonists of the naked bow were Franco Bordoni and Massimo Venturi, who classified on an individual level respectively in the seventh (463 points) and eighth post (425 points), and finished second with Marcello Tozzola in the men’s team masters category with the score of 1416 (528 + 425 + 463). Only placings for the Olympic arch division. Concettina Palmiero finished in ninth place with 470 (230 + 240), while Giovanni Putzu finished thirteenth with 391 (157 + 234) in the male masters category. In the compound bow Luca Ravaioli placed eighth, while Concettina Palmiero finished seventh in the AN division senior female category with 236 (138 + 98).
