TRANSFERS – TRANSFERS The German Sport 1 lists Anderlecht as one of the clubs that show interest in Mehmet Aydin. Aydin is a 19-year-old right midfielder for Schalke 04. He has been playing for the first team since April, but his contract expires in June. That makes him an opportunity.
Schalke would like to extend the contract and the talks are ongoing. Besides Anderlecht, Brentford, Sevilla, Marseille, Lille and Parma are also showing interest. The market value of Aydin is estimated at two million euros.
Aydin made his debut for Schalke’s A-team in April and collected six more base places in the Bundesliga that season. This season the counter is on seven bases and seven substitutes. He scored once and provided an assist. Aydin also regularly plays for the German youth teams.
