For many, their participation in the first play-in tournament in history was all an accident, which was about to be repaired this season. However, as things stand, the Lakers will also struggle in its second edition. Most of the time out of the top 6 in the Western Conference this season, Frank Vogel’s men, 7th (23-23), will have to quickly recover to catch up with their competitors in the standings, and avoid this scenario.
Kevin Love pessimistic about the end of the Lakers season

Even if K-Love expects a rise in the diet from Purple & Gold following the upcoming return of Anthony Davis, it is impossible for him to announce them as champions. Either way, inside the Cavs regret to see LBJ and its partners under such media pressure in this troubled time.
I have a feeling they’re going to make a little noise, but how far will they go? I do not know. But I think some of the expectations around them and the attention they get is — I’m not going to say unjustified, but unfair in a way because you have to wait and see how it turns out.
