2nd Bundesliga: Dresden has a penalty in Hanover after the death of Dörner – Bundesliga

The basement duel 96 against Dresden is marked by the death of East legend Hans-Jürgen “Dixie” Dörner († 70). In the end, Dynamo trembled a happy 0-0 with a Penalty Dusel.

Dynamo plays all in black. 96 does without the usual home outfit and swaps the black pants for white ones.

96 has to do without captain and ex-Dresden player Marcel Franke, who was isolated in private after a Corona case.

The 1st half is heavy after the great 3-0 win against Gladbach. Second division relegation battle instead of cup magic. After all: 96 is clearly better and has good chances to lead through Linton Maina (21st), Cup hero Maxi Beier (29th) and Cedric Teuchert (38th). Dresden only shoots once dangerously on goal, Ron-Robert Zieler holds strong after a Königsdörffer shot.

After the change, Teuchert (48th) shoots wide after a super counterattack and a great pass from Beier. Substitute Sebastian Stolze (73.) MUST make it 1-0, stumbles the ball free in front of Kevin Broll. Dresden’s strong keeper is also there against Hendrik Weydandt (79th).

In the 83rd minute, referee Dr. Robert Kampka Penalty after Akoto foul on Beier. The VAR intervenes – only free kick (foul outside the penalty area), yellow-red for the Dresdener.

A lot of 911-Dusel for Dresden.

Equally bad for 96: Julian Börner, substitute captain for Franke, sees his 5th yellow card, is missing in Heidenheim (February 4th) and is suspended.
