The former patron of Palermo, 80, would be serious. This is not Covid

Hours of anxiety for Maurizio Zamparini, rushed to hospital in Udine. His condition would be quite serious. The former Palermo boss underwent surgery after a sudden complication and is now in intensive care. This is not Covid. A few months ago Zamparini had experienced a serious mourning: in October, in London, his son Armando, 23, was found dead in his apartment. Armando (or Armandino, as they called him) as a child had become the mascot of Palermo. He often took to the field at the end of training, he never missed the retreats, he also participated in the 2004 promotion party.

Nothing Triestina

Not long ago there was talk of Zamparini’s interest in Triestina, immediately denied by the entrepreneur: “I have absolutely no intention of buying Triestina. At eighty and after just losing a child, I don’t intend to return to football. just to say that Trieste is an underestimated square ”.
