(Seoul = News 1) Reporter Seo Jang-won = Chairman Kang Young-joong of the World Youth Culture Foundation announced on the 28th that he had donated the ‘I-Level Cup’, a trophy for the World Junior Badminton Championships.
Chairman Kang is the honorary vice-president of the World Badminton Federation (BWF) for life, and this is the second time to donate the i-Level Cup following the first donation at the World Junior Badminton Championships in November 2011.
This trophy was produced by the World Youth Culture Foundation of Daekyo Group and delivered to the BWF Secretariat in December. The tour will be done with the name of the winning country and the winner engraved on it.
The trophy has the same golden color as the first trophy, and it has a trophy shape reminiscent of a key, meaning that ‘the sports dreamers have a key’ who will lead the future.
In addition, the name tag of the winner was added to the front of the trophy, so that the name of the winning country and the winner of the World Junior Badminton Championships can be permanently engraved.
The i-Level Cup is designed for permanent preservation, and a total of 5 trophies for 5 badminton sports, including singles, doubles, and mixed sports, and a case for storing and transporting trophies were also produced.
An official from the World Youth Culture Foundation said, “Chairman Young-joong Kang produced and donated this trophy for the second time after 2011 to discover and support promising badminton players around the world.” We will support the dreams of young dreamers through various purpose-built projects for youth around the world, such as camps and sponsorship of the Dream Tree.”
