Whoever has the most votes after the end of the vote on January 18 wins the election. If the current Corona development allows, the winners will be officially honored in a festive setting at the event “Masters of Sports 2021” in February.

Niels Torben Giese (Athletics / VfL Wolfsburg): After moving to Wolfsburg at the beginning of the year, the Sprinter took off straight away, increasing its record significantly over the course of the year. He sprinted to the DM bronze medal in Braunschweig in 10.30 seconds and was nominated for the Olympic Games (4×100 meter relay). Mika Noodt (Triathlon / VfL Wolfsburg): The 21-year-old is considered a shooting star in the international triathlon scene.
