(Cheongju = News 1) Reporter Jun-sik Kang = Jin Kim from the Jeungpyeong County Office Ssireum Team in North Chungcheong Province and Wol-shin Jo from the boxing team at Chungju Technical High School were selected as the best players in Chungbuk Sports this year.

The Chungbuk Provincial Sports Association held an awards ceremony for the 2021 Chungbuk Athletic Awards at the Chungbuk Provincial Sports Center on the 23rd, and selected and awarded meritocracy in each field.

Jin Kim (Jeungpyeong-gun Office), who was named as the best player in the competition, participated in the national long-running wrestling contest and won Baekdu Jangsa and Cheonha Jangsa.

Boxing’s Jo Wol-shin (Chungju Technical High School) also received the Outstanding Athlete Award with excellent results, such as winning gold medals at the 102nd National Sports Festival and the National Championships.

The Rookie of the Year award went to Seo Byeong-ki (Eumseong Hanil Middle School), who won multiple gold medals at the 50th National Youth Athletic Championships and various national wrestling competitions, and Jeong Hyeon-taek (Jincheon Samsucho) of Sooyoung, who won two gold medals at the 50th National Youth Athletic Championships.

The Badminton Team of Chungju Girls’ High School, which won the 102nd National Sports Festival and the 58th National Spring Badminton Competition, was named the Outstanding Team Award.

Chungbuk Provincial Governor Commendation from Uirim Elementary School volleyball team leader Mi-jeong Ahn, Chungju City Hall badminton team Park Tae-hoon, Chungbuk Provincial Council Chairman Park Min-ji and Daemicho archery team Kim Jeong-bin, Chungbuk-do Superintendent of Education Seo-jin Lee and Chungbuk Girls’ Middle School roller team commendation Song Min-kyung won each award.

In the sports sector, Lee Sang-min, head of Cheongju Sports Association, Jeong Ji-won, secretary general of Eumseong-gun Football Association, and Baek In-sook, leader of Goesan-gun Sports Association, received the Outstanding Employee Award respectively.

Sambojeong of the Jeungpyeong Archery Association was selected for the Outstanding Friendship Club.
