Since 2009 a cyclo-cross has been organized in Namur. The Citadel of course offers many opportunities to develop an attractive course and in recent years the race course has been mostly to lick your thumbs and fingers.
The cross connoisseurs also realize this. The (Flemish) supporters did not miss the move and also went to Namur en masse yesterday, where there were no traditional party options due to the corona measures.
That didn’t have to spoil the fun, because Michael Vanthourenhout and co were loudly encouraged. Tom Pidcock expressed his appreciation on Instagram.
