Santo Domingo Este, RD.- The Villa Faro Sports and Cultural Club was crowned champion of the U-25 Municipal Basketball Tournament dedicated in posthumous recognition to the former president and athlete of the Luis Sabat Aguilera Brito Club.

The Villa Faro Club defeated the Villa Carmen team by 3 points, thus winning the first undefeated place in this important tournament, the latter being in second place, while the Lucerna Sports and Cultural Club reached third place according to the data provided by the Lic. Roberto Carlos Javier, General Director of the event.

Jean Nicolas Jimenez was voted the Most Valuable Player, in addition to making up the All-Star Team.
