Venice vs Juventus: Bianconeri need to be sharper

Turin

Massimiliano Allegri predicts Venice will be a difficult opponent for Juventus. Therefore, Juventus was reminded to be more efficient in front of goal.

Juventus will travel to the headquarters of Venice in the 17th week of the Italian League. The Venezia vs Juventus match will be held at the Stadio Pierluigi Penzo, Sunday (12/12/2021) early morning WIB.

Even though they are at the bottom, Venice is said to be able to make it difficult for Juventus. Venezia also several times beat teams that on paper are more favored, such as Fiorentina and AS Roma.

“Our next step is tomorrow’s game. A complicated match,” Allegri said in a press conference ahead of the match as reported by the club’s official website.

“Venezia score a lot of goals at home, they take risks and they have to come back from a bad loss, so they will try to make an impression. We have to match them and show respect.”

“They beat Fiorentina, scored a lot of goals and played well, in a proactive way,” added Allegri.

Massimiliano Allegri in particular highlighted Juventus’ finishing. He hopes Paulo Dybala et al do not waste opportunities.

“We have to be sharper. Our goal average is too low. We needed five chances to score one goal and it was not enough,” said Allegri.

“Tomorrow we need the right approach, but I believe the boys already understand how important this match is,” he said.

Juventus’ productivity is indeed the lowest among the top 10 teams in the current Italian League standings. The Bianconeri have scored just 22 goals in 16 games in Serie A.
