19. This is the number of consecutive years in which Roger Federer has been voted ATP fan favorite player. He got this award again this season when he played very little. Mardy Fish had fun on Twitter, ironically asking the exact number of votes, especially in 2009 when Roger had broken his racket against Novak Djokovic in Miami.
« I’m going to need to see a recount for the years 2007 and 2014. Additionally, jsaw him almost throw his racket in 2009″, posted the former world number 7.
Mardy is obviously ironic, but he perhaps confused the award for the most loved player with that of fair play, which Rafa won again.
