Making his debut on August 1, 2010, Charles Oliveira made 27 fights in the octagon before earning a fight for the belt.
After 8 consecutive wins, Charles Oliveira was finally pitted against Michael Chandler at UFC 262 on 15 May to fight for the championship belt released by Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Michael Chandler had almost finished in the first round, Charles Oliveira got up and knocked out his opponent again.
