In the match for the maximum trophy and first place, the United States was crowned champion after beating Chinese Taipei 1-0, while Puerto Rico defeated Mexico 4-0 for the bronze medal.
The Peruvian team played a good role in this championship after beating the Netherlands and then losing in their subsequent matches. The level shown by the Peruvian exponents is encouraging and fuels the confidence that there is a good base to face international tournaments in the future.
