Two young COSM judokas in the spotlight.
Two young judokas from the Solognot Sports Club in Marcilly-en-Villette were honored by their recently retired teacher. The judo section organized a ceremony to award two black belts for 17-year-old Lauréline Polidor and Jérémy Chaboche.
On the tatami from the age of 5
Philippe Salierno trained Lauréline and Jérémy, from their beginnings at Marcilly, from the age of 5, until obtaining the technical test last June: the third and last test to validate the black belt, after the kata (codified sequence of figures) and the 100 points in fights gained since their 15 years.
At the end of this belt delivery, the club presented them with a trophy engraved with their selections: minimal French Cup by departmental team, French individual junior championship in 2019 … During this great competition, Marcilly- en-Villette was the smallest town in France to have recruits among its young hopefuls. A great success for the club and its teacher Philippe Salierno.
