The last eight of Liga 2 2021 seems to be the subject of discussion, not because of positive things.

In the last two days, Liga 2 2021 was enlivened with controversial decisions by referees in two different matches.

The match that is being discussed is the Persis Solo vs Sriwijaya FC party, Sunday (12/19/2021), followed by the North Sulawesi party vs Dewa United, Monday (20/12/2021).

Persis Solo vs Sriwijaya FC

Referee Juhandri Setiana angered Sriwijaya FC when he repeated the Persis Solo penalty kick at the end of the first half.

Beto Goncalves’ penalty shot went high, but the referee decided to repeat the penalty because goalkeeper Rizky Darmawan seemed to cross the goal line before the ball was kicked.

The Sriwijaya FC players had refused to continue the match for five minutes, although in the end the match continued.

Referee Marjukih made the North Sulawesi United squad “rage” due to his decision to give Dewa United a penalty.

In the view of referee Marjukih, North Sulawesi defender Yudi Khoerudin had pushed Dewa United’s player Rangga Muslim.

However, North Sulawesi players did not accept the decision by surrounding and pushing the referee.

The match was then stopped for five minutes, for then the North Sulawesi United were able to accept the penalty.

Herman Dzumafo executed the penalty smoothly, followed by Rishadi Fauzi’s header at the end of the match.

Before the match was over, referee Marjukih was again in the spotlight when he red carded North Sulawesi United coach Ricky Nelson for overly protesting.

Dewa United won the match against North Sulawesi with a score of 2-0.
