The 1986 Trans America Athletic Conference baseball tournament yes is held at Hunter Field on the Hardin-Simmons campus in Abilene, Texas on April 25 and 26. This was the eighth championship of the tournament held by the Trans America Athletic Conference, in its eighth year of existence. Georgia Southern won her third championship of the tournament.
Format and sowing
The winner of each of the two divisions of the conference met at the best of three series. Stetson was not eligible as a new conference member.
