Lessons in basketball, sport, values and life for 500 pupils of 26 classes of primary schools of Cavaion, Affi and Pastrengo, belonging to the comprehensive institute “Girolamo Fracastoro” which is based in Cavaion. The students were followed for a whole month by the Tobia Basket instructors, members of the Fip-Italian basketball federation, Niki Leonetti, Andrea Ceradini and Matteo Rosa, who dedicated two hours to each class. Finally, in December, an evening was held in the Torcolo court, in the Turri civic hall, during which the point was made on what has been done so far and the foundations were laid for new common actions, aimed at linking sport and learning. and education, for the benefit of the psychophysical growth of the little ones. In addition, Tobia Basket officially handed over thirty mini-basketballs and three books to the head teacher of the Fracastoro Comprehensive Institute, Anastasia Zanoncelli, gifts to be distributed in the three primary schools. The evening, presented and conducted by the SportdiPiù journalist Andrea Etrari, was an opportunity for meeting and reflection between the headmaster Zanoncelli, the national minibasket manager for the Fip, Maurizio Cremonini, the instructors of Tobia Basket, the mayor of Cavaion, Sabrina Tramonte, sports managers and families. “For the world of school, collaborations and projects of this type are fundamental”, explained Zanoncelli, “as they help teachers to increase the training offer and students to have a deeper knowledge of themselves and their basic motor pattern, also developing the cognitive sphere.
