Thibaut Courtois receives striking advice from coach Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid

For Courtois, the opinion of the newspapers doesn’t really matter much. He mainly listens to trainer Carlo Ancelotti who compares him to Buffon and Neuer.

Something Courtois is only too happy to hear. “He knows well enough who he has worked with and what qualities his keepers had. That he puts me in there is a great recognition,” Courtois told HLN.

Ancelotti even gave Courtois some striking advice. “During training, he often laughs: ‘You have to catch less balls, so that my attackers gain confidence.’”
