For a week now, Rudy Gobert has been attacked by some players and some fans who do not consider him that strong defensively. But in addition to having responded with words, the French pivot responded with gestures. The proof, he succeeded in a viral action which contradicts all his haters.
Rudy Gobert has been in the spotlight in recent days, but not necessarily for his excellent level on the pitch. Indeed, this week, he was attacked by two players of the Timberwolves following the victory of his Jazz over Minnesota. It all started with Patrick Beverley, who, in addition to having been mercilessly at a press conference by indirectly treating the French as a coward, was unleashed on the ground.

And then Anthony Edwards quickly added his two cents by saying that, despite his three Defender of the Year titles, the tricolor pivot was not that impressive or intimidating in the racket… Words that have just been dismantled by a viral image of Rudy Gobert against the Wizards this Saturday. If he does not worry “Anti Man”, the pillar of the France team has terrorized Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

If Rudy Gobert does not scare Anthony Edwards, who is much more intimidated by Kristaps Porzingis, he is obviously a big deterrent for other players. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was in such panic over the defensive return of the tricolor pivot that he sent the ball over the board. Some players may disrespect the Stifle Tower and its defense, but the pictures never lie …
