As the holiday season approaches, transfer rumors should flourish in the league, especially with the crazy announcement of the Pacers, who want to part ways with their potential All-Stars. Taking this information into consideration, a 3-team exchange couldt totally upset the league.

After almost two months of competition, it is now time for rumors. Indeed, the sample played is dense enough to allow managers to draw conclusions and make sometimes radical decisions. On the side of the Pacers for example, very disappointing despite the arrival of Rick Carlisle, the time would be for reconstruction with 3 players now available on the market.

And inevitably, this rather surprising announcement could force other teams who are looking to take action and activate in the transfer market. For example, an XXL trade with Myles Turner and Caris LeVert could totally disrupt the league and change the race for the playoffs. 6 players would be involved, and it is very difficult to take out a winner as the three teams concerned progress.

Ben Simmons with the Raptors, LeVert and VanVleet with the Sixers

Pacers receive: Pascal Siakam et Shake Milton

Sixers receive: Caris LeVert, Fred VanVleet and two first rounds of Draft

Raptors receive: Myles Turner and Ben Simmons

Let’s start by analyzing the exchange on the Pacers side, they who are looking to rebuild themselves. By parting with Myles Turner, the leaders would allow Domantas Sabonis to shift to post 5 permanently and he could enjoy a Nikola Jokic role. Pascal Siakam seems quite complementary and he has the experience of the title won in 2019, which is interesting to go up the slope. As for Shake Milton, he would form an effective backcourt with TJ McConnell off the bench. If the mayonnaise takes, the playoffs will not be far.

For the Sixers, such an exchange would allow for a deep and experienced workforce, two parameters necessary in the quest for a title. Fred VanVleet knows the way to the Larry O’Brien Trophy, and he would have the character to wake up his new teammates. And then, his defense is far from bad… As for Caris LeVert, he is supposed to enter his best years and he would be a formidable offensive asset alongside Joel Embiid. It wouldn’t be a luxury in Pennsylvania to have another player capable of creating his own in the squad.

For the Raptors, it would be the perfect opportunity to give responsibility to the excellent Scottie Barnes, potential rookie of the year. He would thrive with a real pivot at his side and a point guard who wouldn’t steal his shots on offense. Above all, along with Ben Simmons and Myles Turner, Toronto would be the best defensive team in the NBA by a good margin. Nick Nurse would undoubtedly be in heaven with such a workforce at his disposal.

Here is an exchange that could put 3 teams who are still looking for each other back on track. It remains to be seen whether the leaders will succeed to agree and especially if Daryl Morey will one day agree to release Ben Simmons …
