The night of the Blues in the NBA: Double-double for Rudy Gobert during the success of Utah Jazz against the Celtics

While all eyes to the West were on the shock Golden State Warriors – Phoenix Suns – won by teammates Stephen Curry – the Utah Jazz received on their floor the Boston Celtics, a midfield team at the Is, to allow them to continue to be part of the best teams in their conference.

Moreover, Rudy Gobert’s teammates put pressure on entry (14-4), before concluding this first river quarter in the lead (38-25). The rest of the meeting was of the same ilk with two teams over 50% on shots (37 points for Celtic Jayson Tatum). The locals, however, made the three-point difference with an average of 52.8%, thanks in particular to gunners Donovan Mitchell (6/14, 34 points) and Mike Conley (7/7, 29 points) to sign a victory 137 -130.

Behind this trio, Rudy Gobert has, as always, brought his defensive weight, while scoring on the other side of the field. With 100% success on shots and 8 free throws out of ten, the blue pivot managed his offensive score (18 points), completing his match with 12 rebounds and two blocks. A match within its standards for the season.

Duller evening for Luwawu-Cabarrot and Ntilikina

The evening was less successful for the other French people concerned. On their floor, the Atlanta Hawks were beaten by a short header by Philadelphia (98-96), in particular thanks to 28 points from Joel Embiid. Hawks player Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot had playing time (18 minutes) but, limited by faults, he could not influence the meeting and show himself (0/2 on shots).

The evening was even duller for Frank Ntilikina since the day of the Dallas Mavericks did not even come into play when his team lost at home against the New Orleans Pelicans (91-107).
