The National Basketball Association’s All-Star Game 2022 All-Star Fan has started on Saturday, after which the team’s starting five will be selected.
Fans can vote in Latvia from 18:00.
The vote for the top five of the Western and Eastern Conferences will end at midnight on January 22 at East Coast time or on January 23 at 7 am Latvian time.
During voting, fans can vote once a day through the NBA app, as well as on the league’s NBA.com website. You can also vote every day on the Twitter site by tweeting or retrieving a basketball player’s name or username next to the #NBAAllStar theme.
In five days – December 25, January 7, 13, 17 and January 20 – the votes cast will be twice as valuable.
Like the fans, NBA players and the media will take part in the selection of the starting five. For the sixth season in a row, the fan vote gives 50% of the result, while the currently active players and the mass media will give 25%.
Intermediate results of the fan vote will be announced on January 6, 13 and 20. The starting five will be announced on January 27, but a week later there will be an opportunity to get acquainted with the NBA All-Star Game Reserves, who will be selected by the coaches.
71 in NBA history The all-star game, marking the league’s 75th anniversary, will take place on February 20 in Cleveland. Cleveland NBA stars were also hosted in 1997, when the league celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Four seasons ago, Kristaps Porziņģis was selected to play in the All-Star Game, but the rupture of the knee crosses stretched the bar for his hopes of making his debut at the event.
Porziņģis won the mastery competition included in the program five years ago, and he has also played twice in the NBA Rising Star Match. Rodion Kuruc also took part in the new star game in his debut season.
