The ITF country tennis rankings led by Croatia

Despite having lost in the Davis Cup final to their Russian counterpart, Croatia can be proud of their tennis. And it is that the team led by the champion of a Grand Slam, Marin Cilic, became the leader of the world ranking by teams of the International Tennis Federation (ITF, for its acronym in English).

This is the first time since 2006 that Croatia manages to reach the top of this ranking. On this occasion, the Croats succeeded with 1435,5 points to just over 50 points from its closest pursuer which is France.

Beneath these two nations, and at a considerable distance, lies Spain, with 926.81 points. Fourth, there is Belgium, with 647.63 points, while the top 5 completes it USA with 603.32 points.

100 points out of the top five is the nation of Serbia, commanded by the number one in the world of ATP, Novak Djokovic. Serbs are in sixth place with 503.15 points. In seventh place, you will find Canada with 481.63 points.

On the other hand, the champion team of the Davis Cup it enters the top ten, climbing to position 8 with 480.13 points. This is the first time that the Russians are in the top 10 since 2012. Those led by Medvedev y Rublev they climbed from 13th to 8th place. The top 10 completes it Germany with 478.19 points and Italy with 451.26.
