jpnn.com, SINGAPORE – Indonesia National Team Coach Manager Shin Tae Yong is happy that his team can qualify for the 2020 AFF Cup final.

However, he noted that there were still shortcomings shown by Indonesian players when they won 4-2 against Singapore in the semifinal 2 leg, Saturday (25/12) night.

Apart from focusing on the crucial minutes, Shin Tae Yong thinks that Asnawi Mangkualam and colleagues need to be more patient and not rush.

Moreover, with the number of superior players, it should be more relaxed to control the game.

That way, calm, neat, and patient possession of the ball can be shown by the Garuda squad.

“Our players are still young, the control of the match is lacking. We have to improve how to play calmly,” he said, after the game.

The South Korean coach still has a few days to play video footage of the match. From that moment, players can be reminded what their weaknesses are.

“We will prepare ourselves for the final match later,” he said.

Shin Tae Yong mentioned a number of weaknesses of his foster children after Indonesia ensured themselves to qualify for the 2020 AFF Cup Final.
