The Highlighting Awards deliver badges to more than 250 young people from the West

The Adra Cultural Center has hosted, this Thursday, the Awards Highlighting, organized in collaboration with the City Council. Badges have been delivered at this appointment to more than 250 boys and girls from Poniente almeriense, promising young people in areas such as sports, artistic expression, solidarity, social integration, education, among many others. An appointment in which it has also been possible to enjoy the Pedro de Mena children’s choir and the experiences of students and Jose Manuel Marin, Abderitano athlete of adapted archery and who holds the European record in Open Recurve.

Mayor, Manuel Cortes, accompanied by the mayor of Education, Pedro Peña, and other councilors from his government team, welcomed all attendees, who were able to enjoy a gala full of emotion and sympathy where the young protagonists received the affection and applause of friends and family. Among the winners of the Abderitano municipality have been students of the CEIP Pedro de Mena, San Fernando and San Nicolás, as well as the IES Gaviota, the Hello academy and the Marrajos Rugby Club. The municipalities of Berja, The ejido Y Roquetas de Mar, being a total of fifteen educational centers, private schools and sports clubs.
