The first Latvian in the “Nitro Rallycross” competition: Ronalds Baldiņš returns with valuable experience – Motor sports – Auto

Ronalds Baldiņš, Latvian rallycross rider: “It is a great pleasure and satisfaction that we came to the end of the season in Florida. Yes, of course, we dreamed of getting into the final race this time as well, but it has to be real, the slowest guys don’t drive here – everyone is fast, fighting for every inch of the track. Words cannot describe the taste I have felt here in three races, I can’t imagine a more impressive rallycross race. ”

“This track was interesting and fast, I really liked it. Finally I felt a little freer, I also got to talk to the competitors, we realized what driving style is here. The car is very good to understand and feel what and how to do it – a very good start for the day, ”reveals Baldiņš.

“One thing is clear, we like it here! Next year is coming and the organizers of the competition plan to expand and organize stages in Europe as well. Our plan would be to continue participating in this rallycross series, now we need to plan the opportunities, finances and be able to find the best solution to start. I really hope we meet at Nitro Rallycross next season. “

“Thank you very much to everyone who got involved and helped you get here. Thank you to each of you. The work of my team and mechanics to make everything happen and happen is indescribable. Everyone worked and got involved for one hundred percent, the team is strong, and I think we have a chance to become more competitive, ”concludes Ronalds Baldiņš.

On the first day of the final stage of “Nitro Rallycross”, Ronalds Baldiņš conceded to teammate Oliver Erikson in a 1: 1 duel.
