The epidemic curve shows a sharply increasing trend

The epidemic curve, as well as the 7-day moving average, shows a strong increase compared to the previous weeks. The weekly mobile incidence per 100,000 inhabitants as of December 22nd was 306. The RDt on diagnoses calculated for the last 14 days with a 7-day moving average increased to a value of 2.1.

The regional trend of the weekly mobile incidence by age group confirms rates above the regional average among those aged 3-44, with an increasing trend for all age groups.

The rates remain below 100 cases per 100,000 inhabitants only in the 80-89 age group.

Overall, an increase is observed in all Districts.

The slight but constant increase in regional hospital work is confirmed (67 hospitalizations as of 22 December, of which 8 in intensive care), while 2 deaths were recorded in the week 13-19 December.
