Successful judo at VfL in 2021

Another difficult year, not only for contact sports, was successfully concluded.

In 2021, the judo department at VfL Eppelsheim stayed fit in numerous online units. In the process, many techniques and skills were acquired and consolidated. In the spring, after the first relaxation, we also promoted our fitness through outdoor activities and gradually moved the training back to the gym on the tatami (mat). Many new judoka were enthusiastic and complemented our team.

The long-missed and sweaty training sessions were great fun for young and old. This was followed by intensive preparations for the next belt degrees – also on many weekends – in which the judo principles strengthened body and mind.

At the end of this eventful and instructive year, the following 35 judoka, between the ages of 7 and 51, were rewarded with their new graduation for …

2. Kyu (blue): Alexander Geiger, Elias Siegfried.
