“Shields was put up today by Dr. Loris Pegoli, at the La Madonnina Clinic in Milan, at arthroscopy plus stabilization of the scaphoid and reconstruction of the ligament of the right hand, following the intra-articular radius distal fracture and the 3rd degree injury of the scapholunate ligament“, Reads the official note of the Milanese club.
As for recovery times, the American guard will have to wear a brace for 6 weeks and then begin the re-education process. Consequently, Olimpia will be forced to do without Shields presumably for at least two months, including the Final 8 of the Italian Cup,
