Spain and the Netherlands share the victories in the 45th Christmas Race in Palamós

The Catalans Pau Llibre Vinyes-Miralpeix / Alberto Marsans (CN El Balís) and the French Colin Postel / Louis Arnaud, completed the absolute podium. In the ILCA4 promotion class, both the men’s and women’s titles went to the Netherlands, with Floris Scharffordt and Signe Brinkert. The current Mallorcan champion ofEurope Of Optimist, Xavier García Ollé (RCN Palma) finished second and the Finn Tatu Uusitalo (CN Cambrils) completed the podium. The awards ceremony was attended by Lluís Puig (Mayor of Palamós), Anna Julià (representative of the General Secretariat of theSport from Generalitat), Javier Sanz (president of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation), Xavier Torres (president of the Catalan Sailing Federation), Eduard Sallés (president del Costa Brava Sailing Club Palamós Sailing), Joan Barba (Sports Councilor of thePalamós City Council), Miquel Aviñó (vice-president of the CNCB-VP) i David Ruíz (Ports of the Generalitat).
