LConstantly, the sweat, management, strategy and sacrifice of the Santander sports family will have their deserved recognition this Wednesday night, with the celebration of the Ceremony of the Athlete of the Year – Vanguardia 2021.
After two years, we meet again in the traditional event where in this journalistic house we pay tribute to those who with their commitment and dedication leave the name of Santander high, in the main sporting events.

The appointment is at 7:00 pm, in the Carlos Gómez Albarracín auditorium of the UNAB, where the different categories will be awarded, including: Athlete of the Year, Professional, Coach, Manager and Life and Work.

It was an atypical year, because the pandemic generated new training methods, but the athletes managed to adapt and achieved important results in events such as the Olympic, World, Pan American and South American Games, as well as in national and international competitions.
