Roger Federer was voted a Fan Favorite at the ATP Awards

The historic Swiss tennis player Roger Federer has been voted a Fan Favorite at the ATP Awards for the 19th consecutive year.

Thus, the Basel native reaches 40 awards at the ATP Awards, as he was also honored by his peers with the Stefan Edberg Award for Sportsmanship 13 times and Comeback of the Year in 2017.

On the other hand, in men’s doubles, the French pair formed by Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut have been chosen as Fans’ Favorites for the first time.

It should be noted that in the 21st century, this award won by the former world number one Gustavo Kuerten (2000) and Marat Safin (2001 and 2002) also received it.
