Peruvian medalists of the I Junior Pan American Games Cali-Valle 2021 are awarded by the IPD and the COP | NCZD | SPORTS

The Peruvian Institute of Sport (IPD) and the Peruvian Olympic Committee (COP) honored and awarded this Friday the 35 athletes who won medals at the I Junior Pan American Games Cali-Valle 2021. The athletes attended the National Stadium to receive their deserved recognition .

The national team won a total of 35 medals (6 gold, 15 silver and 14 bronze). Sofía Mamani was the first compatriot to achieve the most important medal when she won the athletics competition in the 10,000 meter modality.

The tennis player Lucciana Pérez, who won gold, and the volleyball players, who managed to hang the silver medal, were some of the athletes who participated in the ceremony.

For their part, the athletics representatives and tennis athletes, who are competing in the United States, were not at the tribute. However, they still received recognition.

Silver: Ryan Cubas (wrestling), Edward Alarcón (gymnastics with pommel horse and also rings), Edward Gonzales (gymnastics, jumping), Yumiko Tanabe (judo), Enrique Herrera (wrestling), Christopher Li and Lucciana Pérez (tennis, mixed doubles), Frank Luján (athletics, 10,000 meters dash), Francesca Gardella (Single W1X rowing), Verónica Huacasi (athletics, 3,000 meters hurdles), volleyball team (women), Kiara Arango (judo), Eliana Vásquez ( taekwondo), Angelo Caro (skateboarding) and Mary Luz Andía (athletics, 20km athletic walk).

Bronze: José Luis Chaupin (athletics, 3,000 meters), Ángel Sosa and César Cipriani (rowing), Gloria Asca (wrestling), César Olaya (karate), Sandro Gardella, Ángel Sosa, Cesar Cipriani, Andrés Sandoval (rowing MX 4), Nicolás Bouroncle (karate), Kurt García (karate), Inés Castillo (badminton), Javier Saavedra (judo), Noemí Huayhuameza (judo), Arnold Prado (judo), Santiago Villegas (weightlifting) and Frank de la Sotta (bowling ) and Daianne Hayashida (tennis individually).
