NFL: Buccaneers win 33-27 over Bills in overtime

Tom Brady became the most passing quarterback in NFL history and hit the 700 touchdown plateau in a 33-27 overtime victory for the Tampa Buccaneers over the Bills of Buffalo, Sunday.

Brady threw for 363 yards, with two touchdown passes, in addition to registering a major himself. Now in his 22nd season, scoring seven Super Bowls in the process, is now ahead of Drew Brees in assists completed with 7143 and sits at the top of that statistic.

The Buccaneers won on a 58-yard touchdown pass to Breshad Perriman – which was Brady’s 700th touchdown pass in his career, playoffs included.

After letting go of the 21-point lead they held at half-time, the Buccaneers (10-3) have found a way to win a fourth consecutive game and are in a good position to clinch a first title in the Southern section of the National association since 2007.

Brady, who is customary to beat Buffalo, won 17 American Association Eastern Section championships while a member of the New England Patriots. He improved his record to 33-3 as a starting quarterback against the Bills.

Brady smashed Brees’ record for most completed passes late in the second quarter. He made 31 of his 46 passes, and none of them were intercepted.

Josh Allen got off to a rocky start, but ultimately gained 308 passing yards and threw two touchdowns. He made a name for himself in the run, scoring 109 yards and a major. Allen became the fourth player to accumulate 300 passing yards and 100 rushing yards in a single game.

Despite a 4-1 start, the Bills (7-6) do not look like a team that has just won its first section title since 1995 and which has had its longest run in the playoffs. for 27 years. They had dropped the flag against the Kansas City Chiefs in the American Association game last January.

The Bills are 3-5 in the last eight games and have suffered back-to-back losses for the first time this season. They’ve eroded their chances of making the playoffs, with just four weeks left on the NFL’s regular schedule.

Kittle and Aiyuk offer each other the Bengals

George Kittle was spectacular and Brandon Aiyuk ended in overtime in a 26-23 win for the San Francisco 49ers over the Cincinnati Bengals.

The tight end came in with nothing less than 13 catches for 151 yards and registered a major.

The Niners were in control 20-6 early in the fourth quarter, but two Bengals touchdowns helped Cincinnati level the score. Ja’Marr Chase’s second touchdown of the game made it 20-20 with less than two minutes to go.

San Francisco moved up the field, thanks in part to a spectacular catch from Kittle, and Robbie Gould ran for 47 yards for the win. His kick, however, failed on the right side to send the two teams into overtime.

After a placement from the Bengals, the 49ers had to score at least three points. Jimmy Garoppolo joined Aiyuk who crossed the goal line by diving for the spectacular touchdown and deliver the victory to his team.

Herbert cuts out Giants defense

Justin Herbert made sure to cut out the New York Giants defense in a 37-21 win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

The quarterback threw three touchdown passes as he spotted Jalen Guyton, Josh Palmer and Jared Cook for the majors. He was deprived of the services of Keenan Allen who is on the COVID-19 list. Herbet finished the game with 275 yards.

Austin Ekeler recorded a rushing touchdown and ended the game with 67 yards. He crossed the end zone for six points in a fifth straight game.

The Giants tried to come back up late in the game, especially with a pass from Mike Glennon to Saquon Barkley for a touchdown. Daniel Jones was not freakish, bothered by a neck injury.

The victory allows the Chargers to stay close to the Kansas City Chiefs who lead the West Division in the United States with a 9-4 record while Los Angeles’ 8-5 is not.

The Broncos are doing what was expected of them

The Denver Broncos paid tribute to the memory of the late Demaryius Thomas, and they honored him with an almost flawless performance in a 38-10 victory over the Detroit Lions.

Backers Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon each scored two touchdowns. On defense, Dre’Mont Jones delivered a dominant performance, including two sacks against Jared Goff.

Several Broncos players showed up to the stadium wearing jerseys bearing Tomas’ number 88, and kicker Brandon McManus had slipped on cleats featuring the former wide receiver who died last Thursday at the age of. 33 Years.

Once on the field, the Broncos (7-6) sent only ten players in tribute to the deceased. The Lions (1-11-1) refused the penalty for respect.

Then the Broncos scored on their first offensive streak when Williams drove five yards to get into the end zone with safety backs Dean Marlowe and Jalen Elliott on the back.

Gordon followed him on a one-yard run to make it 14-0.

The Lions still approached. First on a touchdown pass from Goff to Kalif Raymond, then on a 36-yard field goal from Riley Patterson. At halftime, the Broncos’ lead was 17-10.

Things went off the rails later, however, when a turnaround allowed the Broncos to reclaim the ball at the Lions’ 30-line and five games later Williams caught a ten-yard touchdown pass. Another major from Gordon and a final touchdown signed Albert Okwuegbunam completed the carnage.
