NBA: vaccine will be mandatory to play in Toronto against the Raptors from January 15

Everything seems to indicate that as of January 15, NBA players who have not opted for the COVID-19 vaccination will not be able to take part in the games presented at the home of the Toronto Raptors.

According to what Shams Charania, journalist at The Athletic, this instruction would align with the will of the Canadian government to require all individuals crossing the border to be vaccinated.

Charania adds that if a player is unable to prove that they have received the vaccine, they could potentially be subject to a fine or suspension.

Raptors players as well as coaching staff are 100% vaccinated, but to date 3% of NBA players are still not.
