#THE MATCH OF THE NIGHT, FINALLY ACCORDING TO US

Bulls – Nuggets (2h) : Nikola Jokic seems a little less exhausted at the end of the matches and that’s partly because the Serbian pivot is a little less lonely. While Jamal Murray and now Michael Porter Jr. are both away for a long time (along with PJ Dozier), some have recently come out of their box to help Niko. In the last game against the Knicks for example, the young Zeke Nnaji ensured (21 points). That’s only a bonus considering that Nikola Jokic’s mere presence makes Denver a team capable of competing against the best franchises, and that’s precisely what the Nuggets will need to confirm against the Bulls tonight. Chicago comes out of an invigorating victory against the Nets and its pair of scorers does not appear any more so much DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine cardboard. Tonight, the duo will have a lot to do with the reigning MVP largely capable of matching their scoring skills in addition to being present on other aspects. In short, this evening, the nets will probably be the main victims.

# ALSO TO MONITOR

  • The Hornets have been hit hard by a wave of COVID-related absences (LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier, Jalen McDaniels and Mason Plumlee) but appear to be responding well to adversity as evidenced by their success against Atlanta on Sunday. Against the Sixers, however, the task may be more difficult. This meeting could be the most affordable of the month of December for Jojo Embiid and company, who will not hesitate to rush at the opportunity.
  • The Grizzlies are certainly evolving without Ja Morant but are on an excellent momentum with a 4-0 punctuated by excellent defensive performance. Tonight, the challenge should be a little tougher against Miami, who could recover Jimmy Butler.
  • Over the last five games, the Cavaliers are 4-1 and more generally, they surprise more than one in this first quarter of the season. Cleveland is most often annoying for the big cars and even with the possible return of Giannis Antetokounmpo this evening, victory is not guaranteed for the Bucks.
  • Anthony Edwards’ post-match press conferences alone are reason enough not to miss Wolves games. Beyond that, Minnesota and Atlanta have quality to spare but remain on a two-game losing streak, the desire to bounce back will be great and it bodes a good game.
  • Even though the Suns saw their 18-game winning streak come to an end against the Warriors, Phoenix’s quality is not affected in any way. Quality basketball will therefore continue to emerge at the Footprint Center, even without Devin Booker still out.
  • The Warriors are coming out of a loss to the Spurs and the Stephen Curry gang will be keen to bounce back at home. Small bonus: a small shoot of Klay Thompson in match outfit will take place to the delight of Warriors fans.

The week starts strong with 10 matches, however if you plan to consume everything you will have to proceed in a methodical way, especially at 2am which will be a pivotal moment when the split screen will be your best ally. Prepare the coffee, we’ll see you later.
