On Monday through Tuesday night in the NBA, as Golden State and Phoenix returned to the front, Chicago and Memphis continued their momentum. Also note, Joel Embiid’s huge performance during Philadelphia’s hit Charlotte.

While Philadelphia isn’t doing so well after a strong start to the season, Joel Embiid hit hard last night. Traveling to Charlotte, the Sixers ended up winning in overtime (124-127), thanks in particular to a great performance by the Cameroonian center. Author of 43 points (15 of 20 shots), 15 rebounds and 7 assists, the latter was simply monstrous to overcome the brave Hornets. For its part, Chicago, deprived of DeMar DeRozan (placed in solitary confinement), dominated Denver at the United Center (109-97). If Nikola Jokic signed a new triple-double (17 points, 12 rebounds and 15 assists) for the Nuggets, the Bulls could count on their trio in particular, namely Zach LaVine (32 points and 8 assists), Lonzo Ball (20 points and 10 rebounds) and Nikola Vucevic ((20 points and 10 rebounds), to sign a 17 success in 25 games, the fourth in a row. Even in the East, Milwaukee has not weakened against Cleveland (112-104) and therefore remains with 10 wins in the last 11 meetings. For this, the reigning champion saw Giannis Antetokounmpo, who was turning 27, shine again with … 27 points and 12 rebounds to his credit.

Atlanta, Indiana and OKC bounce back

Traveling to Minnesota, Atlanta scored a beautiful victory (110-121) and maintains a positive record after this twelfth success in 25 games. If Karl-Anthony Towns (31 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists) was in good shape for the Timberwolves, Trae Young (29 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists) but also Frenchman Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot (24 points, 7 of 14 three points) allowed the Hawks to win at Target Center. A little earlier, Washington had confirmed its bad moment of the moment by losing on the court to Indiana (116-110). Against a Bradley Beal (34 points) who tried to revive the Wizards, Domantas Sabonis’s teammates (30 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists) were the strongest at the time and thus ended a series of four setbacks away. Note that in the duel between promising young leaders, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (30 points and 13 assists) and Oklahoma City Thunder had the last word against Cade Cunningham (28 points and 11 rebounds) and their Detroit Pistons (103-114).

Golden State and Phoenix didn’t hesitate for long

In the West, the top two quickly forgot their fourth loss of the season. Aided by duo Stephen Curry (31 points) and Andrew Wiggins (28 points), the Golden State Warriors largely dominated the Orlando Magic (126-95). With seven new successful 3-point shots out of 13 attempts, the Californian franchise leader is now just 16 lengths from Ray Allen’s record (2,973). The latter, therefore, should not take long to fall! For their part, the Phoenix Suns recovered the San Antonio Spurs, who were left with four straight wins, on the ground (108-104). Although still deprived of Devin Booker, the Monty Williams players came out against the Texans, thanks in particular to Chris Paul (21 points and 10 assists). With 20 wins in 24 games, the two teams still share the lead in the Western Conference, with the best record in the league. Behind, the Memphis Grizzlies, even without Ja Morant, are trying to keep up, they who have chained a new positive result by going to win in Miami (90-105), despite the return of Jimmy Butler. Finally, the Los Angeles Clippers remain in the top 5 after their victory in Portland (90-102).
