The grass baseball team “KOBE CHIBEN” formed by Mariners Ichiro (special assistant and instructor with chairman) will hold an exhibition match with the girls’ high school baseball selection team on the 18th. Mr. Ichiro wore a uniform with a uniform number of “1” and entered the starting lineup with “9th pitcher”.
Mr. Ichiro will make his “grass baseball debut” in 2019 against the faculty and staff team of Chiben Wakayama High School. Last time, he participated in “9th pitcher” and hit a smashing prize, threw 9 times by himself, threw 131 balls, 6 hits and 16 strikeouts, and won a shutout victory.
This match will be held as part of a strengthening program sponsored by the All Japan Women’s Baseball Federation and the National High School Women’s Baseball Federation.
