Microsoft’s ID @ Xbox Winter Game Fest demo event kicks off on December 7 – Marseille News

Microsoft will once again host its ID @ Xbox Winter Game Fest Demo event as part of the Game Awards.

From December 7 through December 21, you will be able to play over 35 demos of upcoming unreleased games for Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One.

Much like the Steam Fest demos, some are early releases because the games haven’t finished yet. This means that there could be missing features and possibly unfinished graphics, which means that the demos are not necessarily indicative of the final product.

These demos will only be available for a limited time, but Microsoft says some may come to the Demo channel later. But just in case, be sure to try one that interests you before December 21.

While the full list will be revealed closer to December 7, Microsoft has provided a list of some of the games that will have demos.

Booty river: This game is an action and dungeon exploration roguelike featuring a series of procedurally generated mazes. It combines tense real-time combat and dark fantasy styles as well as the block-shifting space puzzles of Tetris.

Trash can of death: Set in a post-apocalyptic world, you’ll create your own character in this game that combines old-fashioned role-playing with modern action. In it, the “cosmic horrors” yearn for humanity, but, instead, they are encountered by punks armed with shotguns. Interesting.

Black tail: In this retelling of Baba Yaga’s Slavic origin story, you play through a game that mixes both exploration and archery with dark storytelling. Will you become a “formidable guardian of the forest?” Or the terror upon which “nightmares are based?” “

Story-driven action-adventure game Bistun’s tale was inspired by the 12th century tragic poem “Khosrow and Shirin”. You play as a stonecutter who wakes up on Mount Bistun with no memory to discover that an insidious plague has spread, bringing with it many dangerous enemies. You will have to fight these mythical enemies and travel between the “real world and an ethereal place of forgotten memories” in order to uncover the secret of your past.

From the makers of Guacamelee comes Nobody saves the world, where you’ll complete quests and discover and trade between over 15 diverse and distinct shapes. Here you can mix and match abilities in order to unlock and complete even more difficult quests while exploring a vast overworld and its grand dungeons. The game can be played solo or with a friend online.

Again, this is just a taste of what’s to come, as there will be plenty to choose from once the hits on December 7th hit.
