Michael Carrick resigns from Manchester United because of fuss with Cristiano Ronaldo? : Okezone Ball

MICHAEL Carrick surprisingly announced his resignation from the ranks of Manchester United coaches on Friday, (12/3/2021) morning WIB. The exact cause of Michael Carrick’s resignation has not yet been revealed. Did the 41-year-old man resign because of his cold war with Manchester United superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Michael Carrick and Cristiano Ronaldo’s relationship heated up after the Chelsea vs Manchester United match continued in the 13th week of the 2021-2022 Premier League, Monday 29 November 2021 in the morning WIB. The reason is because Michael Carrick reserved Cristiano Ronaldo.

In the match which was held at Stamford Bridge, Cristiano Ronaldo only entered in the 64th minute replacing Jadon Sancho. Ironically during 26 minutes on the field, Cristiano Ronaldo failed to score a single shot.

After the match, Cristiano Ronaldo put on a sour face. Apart from not applauding Manchester United fans who were present at Stamford Bridge, Cristiano Ronaldo was reluctant to look at Michael Carrick’s face when the two shook hands at the end of the match.

Michael Carrick has denied the fight between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo. In a press conference ahead of the Manchester United vs Arsenal match, he admitted that his relationship with CR7 was fine.

“There are a lot of considerations when you make a decision to pick a player. Honestly, between us (Carrick and Ronaldo) there are no problems. You can ask Cristiano,” said Michael Carrick quoting from The Guardian, Thursday (2/12/2021).

“You (journalists) can ask Cristiano. The way he responds (when tofu is backed up) is absolutely flawless. Around the dressing room, he supports the players. I think a lot of people think negatively about my relationship with Cristiano, but the reality is very different,” continued Michael Carrick.

However, evidence of Cristiano Ronaldo’s dislike for Michael Carrick was shown to have finished bringing Manchester United to a 3-2 win over Arsenal this morning. He did not at all say farewell to Michael Carrick who chose to resign from the ranks of the Red Devils coach.

“Our minds are already on the next game. There’s no time to celebrate. This victory is very important to get back on the right path,” wrote Cristiano Ronaldo on his Instagram account, @cristiano.

“We still have a long way to go to reach our goal. Congratulations to all teammates. They showed an extraordinary spirit in this match,” continued Georgina Rodriguez’s lover.

Initially, Michael Carrick was plotted as an assistant coach to Ralf Rangnick who had just been appointed as interim coach of Manchester United. Now, it’s interesting to see the collaboration of Ralf Rangnick and Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.
