Santo domingo norte. – The councilor of Santo Domingo Norte, José Manuel López, called on the business community of that demarcation to support the Men’s Superior Basketball Tournament, which takes place in the multi-purpose roofed area of Sabana Perdida.
López, who chairs the Organizing Committee of the traditional sports fair, which on this occasion bears a special dedication to the Minister of the Environment, Orlando Jorge Mera, assured. that the best investment made is in sports, because it helps young people participate in healthy recreation and away from the streets.

The councilor of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), urged the family of Santo Domingo Norte, to massively and enthusiastically support the event organized by the clubs, which is endorsed by the Dominican Basketball Federation (Fedombal) and the Association of Basketball of the Santo Domingo Province (Abasado).
“We are in basketball and what better scenario than this for the family to enjoy a quality event, where the traditional teams from Santo Domingo Norte will participate, where they can enjoy the tournament in a fun and safe environment,” he explained.
Similarly, José Manuel López thanked President Luis Abinader for providing support to the event through the Ministry of Sports, led by Minister Francisco Camacho, as well as other institutions such as the Ministries of the Environment and Public Works, the CAASD, the National Institute of Housing, among others.
He also expressed his gratitude to the work team that accompanies him, of which he said they work hard to organize and present a quality show again, as in previous years, while highlighting the success of the event and valued the return of the basketball-loving public that massively supports this day.
It is recalled that in the Superior Men’s Basketball Tournament of the Santo Domingo Norte municipality, the teams of the club Víctor Burgos, Raúl Castro, Los Caribes, Buena Vista I, Club Remanso and Buena Vista II participate, which face each other on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturday and Sunday, in the multipurpose of Sabana P perdida.
