Manchester City is now leading the competition for the Premier League title, ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea. The Citizens are believed to be winning trophies because of their experience.
City continue to maintain its position at the top of the Premier League standings, having won it from Chelsea two weeks ago. Finally, Pep Guardiola’s team thrashed Leeds United 7-0 at the Etihad, Wednesday (15/12) early morning WIB.
The victory makes City now collect 41 points. Liverpool trailed in second place with 40 points, and Chelsea were in turn down to third place with 37 points.
This condition makes Joe Cole’s prediction, a former Chelsea winger, wrong. Cole had championed his former club to win the title.
Previously, Chelsea was leading the competition. Last season’s Champions League champions began to fall apart since being detained by Manchester United, with then defeated by West Ham United and lastly beaten by Everton 1-1, Friday (17/12/2021).
