After Didier Lamkel Zé failed to secure a top transfer last summer, the crazy and genius Cameroonian went on a rental basis to the Slovakian DAC Dunajska Streda at the beginning of September. At DAC, Lamkel Zé was good for two goals and three assists in seven games, but in recent weeks he has been sidelined with an injury. It is doubtful whether the attacking midfielder will be seen again in the DAC shirt after the winter break. Lamkel Zé now apparently wants to take another step higher.
A return to Antwerp seems very difficult. In principle, the Great Old has enough quality in midfield and in the striker and the club may not want to take the risk that enfant terrible Lamkel Zé will disrupt the group dynamics. If the one-time international wants to leave DAC, a solution will have to come from outside. The question is to what extent there is currently concrete interest in Lamkel Zé, who still has a contract at the Bosuil until the summer of 2023.
