Atlético Nacional drew 1-1 with Junior in the closing of the A home run in League II-2021. With goals from Jarlan Barrera and Edwuin Cetré, both teams finished the competition for this year.
Under a framework of a friendly match and only in order to fulfill the championship, the match began in Barranquilla. The Antioquia team came out with a better disposition on the field and at minute 7, after a corner kick taken by Yeison Guzmán at the near post, Jarlan Barrera arrived, who took the ball, had time to settle down and with a left leg after a rebound in Fredy Hinestroza, the ball slipped to Sebastián Viera in the stick of his left hand so that Nacional took the lead on the scoreboard.

In the bank they decided to make two changes: entering Jímer Fory and Brayan Córdoba by Jonatan Álvez and Yeison Guzmán. Junior responded with two changes: Marlon Piedrahita and Cristian Martínez Borja entered, instead of Walmer Pacheco and Edwin Velasco.
The game did not have a clear dominator in the match. At minute 31 and after a blow suffered by Andrés Andrade, Jhon Solis entered, making his professional football debut. In the 35th minute, an alleged hand of Juan David Cabal, the referee did not sanction the penalty before the aired claim of the local players.
At minute 42, there was a penalty in favor of Junior, after a charge by Emmanuel Olivera on Germán Mera. The VAR determined the foul two minutes later, Edwuin Cetré changed the foul for the goal, decreeing the tie in a match where both teams generated options, but there was no clear dominator.
