Juan Martín del Potro continues to work hard to return to competition as soon as possible. The Argentine intends to win, once again, the battle against physical problems and return to compete on the ATP Tour.
For this, the former FedEx ATP Rankings No. 3 has already set a goal for his return and has announced this through his official channels on social networks: “It would be very special to return to Buenos Aires and then also play in River”.
That would mean Del Potro would be back in competition next February 2022 for the first time since he last played in June 2019 on Queen’s grass against Denis Shapovalov.
“I continue training with everything, I have better days than others, but always with the hope of returning to the field at the beginning of next year,” the 22-crown ATP Tour champion began his brief statement.
“I work with enthusiasm and effort as you know so that we can see each other here. In the next few weeks I will tell you how I evolved ”, concluded Del Potro’s hopeful message to his fans.
