Joel Embiid visits Celtics at 1:30 am, remains to be seen if he will do better than his 3/17 from last time

If COVID is currently taking hold all over the NBA, the season continues as best it can and tonight, we have six games on the program including a Celtics – Sixers which should offer us some emotions. A poster that pits two historical rivals against stars in the field (hopefully), we take!

# THE PROGRAM FOR MONDAY 20 DECEMBER 2021

  • 1h30 : Celtics – Sixers (on beIN Sports 1)
  • 2h: Bulls – Rockets
  • 2h: Grizzlies – Thunder
  • 3h: Jazz – Hornets
  • 4h : Warriors – Kings
  • 4h30 : Clippers – Spurs (on beIN Sports 4)
  • Raptors – Magic : postponed

# THE MATCH OF THE NIGHT, FINALLY ACCORDING TO US

Celtics – Sixers (1h30) : there is always something going on during the clashes between Boston and Philadelphia. Latest example, the match three weeks ago at TD Garden, when the Celtics ended up winning with a magnificent score of 88-87 after a final block by Robert Williams III on Georges Niang. In this meeting, Joel Embiid was particularly hard: 18 rebounds certainly (with 6 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks), but only 13 points in total at… 3/17 shooting. We are therefore expecting a revengeful Jojo tonight, even if his left ankle is whistling a little right now and he is theoretically questionable. FYI, it’s been since December 16 that Embiid and his friends have not walked a floor, they who saw their Sunday meeting against the Pelicans be postponed following an accumulation of packages linked to both injuries and COVID. Celtics side, the list of absentees is also very long (Al Horford in particular, but also Grant Williams…) and Jayson Tatum is even uncertain for ankle pain. Here, we almost wonder if the meeting will not be postponed in the hours to come …

# ALSO TO MONITOR

  • DeMar DeRozan has returned to service, and it is now Houston that could take tariff.
  • Grizzlies – Thunder, do you remember the last time? #PlusGrosBlowoutAllTime # 73
  • The Jazz remain on two losses at home against San Antonio and Washington. Never two without a three or big spanking coming for the Hornets?
  • After leaving the victory to the Raptors this weekend, the Warriors of Stephen Curry will let loose on the Kings tonight.
  • Clippers – Spurs to finish the night, it’s not what you can call an apotheosis finish but we will be ahead.

Despite the current COVID climate, we will still try to appreciate what the NBA is offering us tonight. Because anyway, there is no choice. Prepare the coffee, you will need it.
