Manchester City’s Portuguese defender Joao Cancelo has revealed that on Thursday he was attacked in the face during a robbery at his home, which is currently being investigated by the police.
The player himself reported the assault last night on his Instagram account, where he posted a photo showing the blow received from the thieves, who, he says, took “jewelry”: “Unfortunately, today I was attacked by four cowards who hurt me and tried to hurt my family. When you resist, this is what happens“wrote the Portuguese international.
“They managed to take all my jewelry and they left my face in this state. I don’t know how there can be such petty people. The most important thing for me is my family and luckily they are fine“, he claimed.
